New Beginnings , take a breath…. they do happen
What a crazy two and a half years I have had. I will spare the details, but I’m sure you could say the same thing about your life. We all have crazy times we could share with the world. But is that the only thing you focus on?
There is a saying, “You become your surroundings.” So have you looked around lately to what your surrounded with? It doesn’t have to be a person, or thing. In fact, it can be your own thoughts that are destroying any chance of you moving to a higher place in life. It’s could “Self Talk,” With over 50,000 thoughts a day, how many of those thoughts are positive and uplifting? If you have a difficult situation happening in your life, how much time a day do you “SERVE” to think about it. ?
So when I talk about “New Beginnings”, this doesn’t have to be a new relationship, a new job… it is all about YOU overcoming your own restraints. And again, this doesn’t have to be drastic. An example…. I was in the gym a few days ago, didn’t have much energy and I was going to call it quits. There is a heavy bag (punching and kicking) in the corner and I thought about how cool, maybe next time, if I would do a routine with that next time I come in. Now, I had nothing to do for the rest of the day… what was really stopping me from doing a quick 5 minute workout ? Nothing ! Just me putting in my mind “I am done now.” So I decided to change those thoughts and said to myself “Not yet..one more thing to do.”
Now as lame as that example may sound. What if you did this to everything in life ? What harm would come to you or pleasure ? If we add something each day that would help change the way we think about ourselves and how we talk to ourselves, life would start to become a lot more beautiful in so many ways.
So if you have something you really want to do in life, start making small steps to create a platform for you to get there. It all begins with you and not what anyone else can say or do for you.
Keeping it all in Focus.
